Jim Rooney, Dan' son, had worked alongside his father for decadesassisting Dan with his relationships at the State Department and the White House during Dan' time serving as Ambassador to Ireland. All stories emphasize Rooney' unique leadership style of stepping into conflicts that, in many ways, would seem intractable, and how with conviction and long-term perseverance, he was able to bring people together to collaborate and build consensus and respect in a manner that created meaningful and sustainable changes to these large business and societal challenges.
