FAQs on Christmas Tree Gingerbread Ornaments

What materials are best when it comes to gingerbread house Christmas tree ornaments?

When looking for gingerbread house ornaments, you want to ensure that the material used is sturdy enough to hold up over the years. Gingerbread house glass ornaments may be too delicate to last. Generally, wood, resin, and clay are great materials to look for. Metals are also great, as they’re built to last.

At Wendell August, we craft our giftware in six different metals: aluminum, bronze, copper, pewter, stainless steel and sterling silver. These materials not only provide durability but also give the ornament a more realistic look and feel.

What size should I choose when buying gingerbread house Christmas tree ornaments?

The size of the gingerbread house ornament you choose depends on your personal preference and the size of your Christmas tree. If you have a large tree, larger ornaments can add an elegant touch. However, if you have a smaller tree, smaller gingerbread house ornaments may be more appropriate. Keep in mind that the larger the ornament, the more attention it will draw to itself.
