The Murano Collection Inspired by northern Italy, the Murano Collection is sleek, functional and designed for entertaining. With 3 distinct sizes, each are handcrafted in our Pennsylvania workshop. The Autumn Murano Trays make the perfect catch-all, candle tray or appetizer server. Inspiration A trip by Wendell August Forge's designers to the islands of Murano inspired the understatedly elegant shape. Just a short sail north of Venice, they were enthralled by the local artists and glass makers and enamored by the culture. Like Venice, beautiful canals make their way through the 16th century buildings where eccentric artists have given the stucco homes and terracotta roofs a fresh twist with fluorescent pops of color. Hundreds of years old, yet timeless, Murano inspired not just our team, but our newest collection.
