Christmas in July continues on Saturday, July 23rd, as Pittsburgh artist Linda Barnicott and Wendell August’s own Len Youngo visit our flagship store to celebrate the release of three new Artist Series ornaments. Len, with over 30 years of experience as an artisan, has skillfully transformed Linda’s cherished Pittsburgh scenes into stunning steel ornaments.
Featured Ornaments:
- "Game Time at Heinz Field" – This ornament captures the excitement of a packed stadium, where the roar of black and gold fans fills the air. The scene is beautifully set with the Allegheny and Monongahela rivers converging to form the Ohio in the foreground.
- "Skating Together at PPG Place" – A nostalgic winter scene that brings back memories for Pittsburghers and visitors alike, showcasing the magic of ice skating at PPG Place on a festive holiday evening.
- "Waiting For You Under Kaufmann’s Clock" – This career-defining painting of the historic Kaufmann’s Clock launched Linda’s transition from portrait artist to renowned painter of Pittsburgh landmarks.
With these new additions, Linda’s contributions to our Artist Series now total six unique pieces. Join us for the official release on Saturday, July 23rd! Both Linda and Len will be available to sign pieces from this year’s collection as well as last year’s.
