Teaching Traditions through Children's Holiday Books
At Wendell August Forge, we are dedicated to celebrating life's milestones, strengthening traditions and building memories. Our creation of hand-wrought works of art in metal, using methods rooted in centuries-old techniques, reflects our passion to honor our forebears and their accomplishments, while enriching the lives of everyone today.
One outstanding way to teach values and establish traditions in our children is through books and games. For that reason, we present a number of exceptional children's books, puzzles and card games which teach kids these concepts while entertaining them at the same time. Most of our books feature the writing talents of our local friend Leann Smith, and they are vibrantly illustrated by expert artists.
Christmas Picture Books your Child will Love
One of this year's most popular books is Santa's Magic Key. A delightful story with charming pictures, Santa's Magic Key introduces a new family tradition involving a handcrafted pewter key, included with the book. The magic key is to be placed on the front door of a child's house, to ensure that Santa comes with his special delivery of toys.
