ACTS
As a Guide for How to Pray
A is for Adoration in Prayer. In prayer we worship God and revel in the Lord's majesty, as shown in "Our Father in heaven, hallowed be thy name." In prayer, we acknowledge that God is sovereign and holy and we praise Him.
C is for Confession. "Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors." In prayer, we confess our wrongs to God, our Father through Christ.
T is for Thanksgiving. "For Thine is the Kingdom and power and the glory forever." In our prayer life, we are to be grateful for all He has done.
S is for Supplication. "Give us today our daily brad, and lead us not into temptation." We are so privileged to be able to talk directly with God. He hears our prayer. We can bring before the lord all of our humble and earnest requests, both for our personal needs and also the needs of others.
The Prayer Bowl and prayer cards are instruments to remind us and help us talk with God. Use the cards by identifying specific prayer needs, completing the cards and placing them in the prayer bowl. May your time in prayer grand you the peace that comes from God alone.
