In this case she again hand-distressed the metal before cutting out the rings. This makes for a larger and more active piece which can dress up an outfit without overwhelming it. Keeping with the theme of all things Wendell August, these earrings are all slightly different from each other. It’s because they were each individually made - by hand of course.
